She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orvil Estes "Mike" and Stella Pilcher (Thornton); her husband John Mayes; her children, Tammie Obenrader of Cleora, Doug Mayes (Vicki) of Big Cabin, Heather Rook (Brad) of Republic, Johnny Mayes of Big Cabin and Susan Kouplen (Billy) of Eucha; her grandchildren, Amber, Alex, Gabriel, Sara, Zach, Destiny, Dyllan of Emma, C. C. and Jemmi; and her sisters, Darlene Donofrio of Las Vegas, Leota Erickson of Omaha and Wanda Lee of Wickenburg. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
