It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Jean Rex of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McKellar and Deloris McKellar (Boyd); and her sister Anita Sheverdicker. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Rex of Big Cabin, OK; her children, Jerry Rex of Big Cabin, Eric Rex (Marlina) of Locust Grove, OK, Michael Rex (Kara) of Springdale, AR and Elizabeth Jones (John) of Big Cabin, OK; her siblings, Edward J. McKellar of Vinita, OK, Michael McKellar of Gainesville, TX, Dale McKellar of Dayton, Ohio and Sue Getter of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Jordan Jones, Amy Jones, Karina Rex, Nathan Rex, Matthew Jones, Karma Rex, JJ Rex and Dexter Rex.
