He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Tune and America Jane Tune (Edgar); his wife Bonnie Jewel (Booth); his son Steve Tune; and his siblings, Eunice Echols, Virgie Alice Blanchard, Bertha E. Cheek, Arthur Lee Tune, John Samuel Tune, Melburn Cleveland Tune, Wilbert Dawson Tune, Elmer Elvine Tune, Claudie C. Tune and Amos Jasper Tune.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Pegg (Jim) of Pryor and Travis Tune (Alex) of Big Cabin; his grandchildren, Angela, Jami (Trey), Heather (Andy), Steven, Mackenzie, Kinley, Baylor, Peyton and Bryson; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Kyra, Kolby, Korbin, Trevor (Ivy), Waylon, Colton, Bodie, Whitley, Ava, Nora and Graham; and his great great grandchild Finley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral Home Chapel (201 N Wilson St, Vinita, OK 74301). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
