She is survived by: her children, David Gatterman, Kate Chapman and Michael Gatterman; her grandchildren, Lucas Gatterman and Amelia Gatterman; and her siblings, Gayle Vanatta, Phil Smith and Doug Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her name to the Animal Humane Society in Albuquerque.
