It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Cowles (Big Cabin, Oklahoma), born in Coweta, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 8, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Keel and Gladys Keel (Wilkinson); her husband Ernest Cowles; her son Harley Cowles; and her brother Lowell Keel.
She is survived by: her children, James Cowles of Muskogee and Luke Cowles (Cheryl) of Bartlesville; her siblings, Estel Bates, Gary Keel, Tim Keel and Carol Walkup; and her grandchildren, Sarah Sorenson, Annie Cowles, Dolly Trickey, Jayci Cowles, Trey Cowles, Eric Cowles, Jay Cowles and Ethan Cowles.
