Bales Jr., DeNiece Donalson (Randy) and June Smith (Donnie); his grandchildren, Wade Smith (Kristina), Kassie Zerkle (Justin), Brandon Bales (Alicia), Logan Bayles (Todd), B. J. Donalson (Lauren) and Shane Donalson; his siblings, Verla Richert, Les Bales and Jim Bales (Jane); and also Norma Lee Bales (Dime). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
