She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Zachariah Smith and Lillie Valerie Golden; her husband Stan Birch; and her sons, Michael, Larry, Steve (Sheila) of Gravette, AR and Robert (May) of San Jose, CA. She was also cherished by five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
