He is survived by: his pet Carl; his wife Karen Hogue; his son Mitchell Mersman (Lindsie) of Houston, TX; his stepsons, Rod, Adam and Nick; his aunts, Mary Lou Fabra, Carol Ann Crowell of Oklahoma City and Lou Avery of Tulsa; his uncle Chet Arthur (Mary) of Enid; his grandchildren, Colton, Connor Gibson of Houston, TX, Ethan, Grace McClaran of Bristow, OK, Korben Avey, Tori, Tyler Austin, Tara, Gavin and Collin McClaran of Mannford, OK; his cousins, Renee Avery of Tulsa, Jeff Avery of Skiatook, Jerry Lee Goodwin, Jr. and Lawrence Goodwin of Oklahoma City; and his close friend Jim Cook (Pam) of Mustang.
