With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Franklin in Bethany, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Richard left this world on December 11, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Whit Inzer Franklin and Dorothy May Stewart; and his siblings, Melvin Franklin, Jean Eagan and Dorothy Gay.
He is survived by: his brother Arley Franklin; his wife Ruth Franklin; his children, Brian Franklin and Cathy Hershberger; his grandchildren, Ryan Hershberger, Ashley Dudzik, Joshua Hershberger and Andrew Franklin; his great grandchildren, Alizzianna Santiago and Briella Hershberger; his children-in-law, David Hershberger and Samantha Franklin; and his grandchildren-in-law, Katelyn Hershberger and Josiah Dudzik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene (3100 N Rockwell Ave, Bethany, OK 73008).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Church of the Nazarene to support their missions outreach.
