He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Owens and Anice Owens; and his siblings, Shirley Bingham, Wilma Bell, Larry Owens and Donald Owens.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Owens (Eaton); his sons, Gary Owens of Hurst, TX, Don Owens (Carla) and Neal Owens (Kaira); and his sister Joyce Cox of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by 23 grandkids.
