It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia May Wellman (Bethany, Oklahoma), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Bryant and Jessie Bryant (Walter Donald Wellman); and her brothers, Kenneth and Clifford. She is survived by: her husband Walter Donald Wellman; her children, Walter Donald Wellman, Jr. (Nola) and Susan Campbell; her grandchildren, Ryan Wellman (Solange), Stacy Formby, Wendy Sinnema (Lawren), Shari Gateley (Joshua), David Gill (Brittany) and Shannon Campbell; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Brendan, Vince, Griffin, Colin, Jordan, Hank, Ryker, Eloise, Jonah, Charlotte and Madeline.

“Although we never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Wellman, we do know her daughter and son well, and if you can judge a parent by how their children turned out, then she obviously was a wonderful mother! Stories abound, also, as to how Mrs. Wellman faithfully supported her late husband, Don, in his leadership roles in the Church of the Nazarene all throughout the USA.
