It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Wylene Dempsey (Bethany, Oklahoma), born in Holdenville, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, B. R. Gordon and Thelma Gordon (Bennett); her son Steve; her husband Jack Dempsey; her daughter-in-law Audrey; her granddaughter Terra; and her siblings, B. R. and Tammy.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda and Mark; her son-in-law Garry; her grandchildren, Detta, Bryan (Kyle), Ozzie Simmons, Sydney Shaw, Jonathan Simmons and Tim Holland; her siblings, Donna Klick, Barbara Cummins, Peggy Wilmeth, Karen Brock, Willard Gordon (Faye), Ronnie Gordon, John Gordon (Rilda) and Harold Gordon (Jennie); her sisters-in-law, Lavelle Butler and Myrtle Dempsey; and her pets, Nelly and Ernie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
