It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Raymond Carpenter (Bethany, Oklahoma), who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Josephine Carpenter (Kipp) and Raymond Carpenter; his sister Kay Bonney; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Woolf, Eddie Wheeler and Ida Gaye Bates.
He is survived by: his former wife Sherry (Wheat); his friend Norma Pemberton; his siblings-in-law, Robert Bonney, Charlene Woolf and Peggy Wheeler; his children, Kevin Carpenter (Christine), Kyle Carpenter, Kimberly Carpenter (Jeff Rayhill) and Sheryl Lee (Rick); and his grandchildren, Jacob Moore, Miranda Jordan (Moore), Brian Carpenter, Sabrina Lee, Brooke Carpenter, Zachary Lee and Gharrett Wheeler. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
