With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Milburn (Bethany, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Jean departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jean. Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest McClurg and Ruby McClurg. She is survived by: her husband Troy; her children, Sean (Melissa), Brent (Truett) and Sabrina Milburn; and her grandchildren, Merrick and Emily Milburn.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bill Merritt Funeral Service (6201 NW 39th Expy, Bethany, OK 73008). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Rose Hill Burial Park (6001 NW Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73118).
In her memory, donations may be made to the ACLU, Habitat for Humanity, or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
