With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James S. Coker (Bethany, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Mercer-Adams Funeral Service (3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Portland Avenue Baptist Church (1301 N Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73107).
