He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Long and Lola Long (Ballew); his grandmother Ballew; his stepfather Leon Hudgins; his wife Dr. Madalyn S. Long; his son David Long (Julie) of Edmond, OK; his grandsons, Andrew Long (Kylie) of Fort Collins, CO and Aaron Long of Stillwater, OK; and his brother Robert L. Hudgins (Loanna). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and an extended group of friends.
