Irma Jean Gowin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2020, at the age of 89, Irma Jean Gowin (Bethany, Oklahoma), born in Pink, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Marshall and Goldie Arlice Croslin (McBroom); her husband Charles Gowin; her children, Linda Charlene Hale (Butch Hale) and Robert Wayne Gowin; her brothers, Raymond, Charles (Joy) and Glen Croslin; and her grandson Mike Hale of Oklahoma.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Mitch Hale (Kathy), Jessie Gowin, James Gowin (Mary) and Steven Hale (Deanna); her sisters-in-law, Ruth and Shirley Croslin; and her daughter-in-law Taryn Gowin (Stanton). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friend.
Masks or face shields are requested with social distancing at the graveside service.
She had such a wonderful sense of joy and even with her constant battle with Alzheimer's she never lost her natural thankful, joyful nature.
