He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ray Lee Sr. and Mary H. Lee; and his brothers, Gary and Dennis Hinkle. He is survived by: his former spouse Sharalyn Sue Parker; his wife Joanna Louise Jetter; his stepsons, Darrel and Terry; his children, Michael Lee and Kristen Atkinson; his stepsons, Shawn, Darrell and Terrence Jetter; and his sister Paula Morriss. He is also survived by two children and three step children.
Howard was hospitalized on Thanksgiving Day with COVID-19, and bravely fought for his life for 116 excruciating days, while his family was left helpless on the sidelines due to hospital guidelines.
