He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Joe Baker and Jessie Baker (Loy); his wife TJ; and his siblings, Gerald, Horace Joe Jr. "Bud", Nelson Baker, Bernice Frost and Shirley "Jimmie" Frye.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dixie Bailey and Dennis Baker; his children, Jeanann Richardson (Bob) and Michael Loy Baker (Leslie); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Justin, Rachel and Michelle. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
