She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Douglas and Floyd Clem; her husband Hayward; her sisters, Jean, Helen and Gratis; and her children, Jean Gerth and Allan Grimsley.

She is survived by: her sister Bernice Stubblefield; her grandchildren, Dana Slaydon (Phillip) and David Gerth (Liz); and her great grandchildren, JD Gerth and Natalie Slaydon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and other extended family.

Memorial donations may be made to Gaila's church, Westlake Presbyterian Church, 2801 N Rockwell Ave, Bethany OK 73008.
