He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Heidebrecht (Nickel) and Arthur Heidebrecht; his sister Gladys Sawatzky; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Sawatzky and Carl Decker.
He is survived by: his aunts, Johanna and Tillie Nickel; his wife Bobbye; his sons, Larry (Joy) and Lynn (Cheryl); his grandsons, Brett (Claire) and Tyler (Jana); his great grandchildren, Kierra of Ava, A. J., Isaac, Margo, Amy, Liv and Judah; and his siblings, Melvin, Norman (Gerri) and Betty Decker. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
