He is survived by: his wife June Canavesio; his children, Esther Nix (Danny Nix) and David Canavesio (Jennee Canavesio); his grandchildren, Bryan Nix, Seth (Madeline Nix), Emily (Kitt Herron) and Andrew Canavesio; his great grandchild Galia Nix; his sister Raquel (Beto Busto); and also Emma Andresen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
