He was predeceased by: his parents, Odetta Jean Frye and Frederick Peter Madsen; his former wife Gracie Hardee; and his brother-in-law Daniel Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his sister-in-law Judy Clopp; and his stepsiblings, Aleta Madsen, Tish Fitch, Rozanna Madsen-Picantin, Simone, Annie, Fred and Joe Madsen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
