She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Ella (Newsom) and Lester Hubert Osburn; her husband Melvin Leon Harris; her son Jeffrey Wade Harris; her stepfather Wilbur Clinton Brown; her sisters, Helen Faye Hampton and Nina Bea Hill; and her son-in-law Danny Dean Carlile.
She is survived by: her family, Enid, Tulsa and Dorothy; her daughter Fall; her sisters, Effie Jay Ray and Freddie Mae Muldoon (Patrick) of Glendora, CA; her children, Christopher Mark Harris (Deanna), Lance Arlen Harris (Melinda) of Edmond, OK and Cheryl Diane Carlile of Ames, IA; her grandchildren, Abigail (Millie Tanner), Summer, William, James Harris, Benjamin and John Carlile; and her pet Samson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Israel Family Hospice House, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Operation Smile in Dorothy's name.
