He is survived by: his wife Judy Summer (Browning); his daughters, Cheryl Rains (Ralph) and Renae Fowler (Terry); his grandchildren, Michael Rains (Kerri), Matthew Rains (Lee Harris), Mark Rains (Bethany), Ashlee Jacoby, Chris Waldrop (Emily) and Sky Viera (Josiah); and his sister Margaret Clinton. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and to perpetuate Carl Summer's passionate desire for people to know Jesus, the family suggests honoring his memory with donations to help children and teens attend church camp.
