She was predeceased by: her parents, George VaLeu and Elsie VaLeu of Quincey, IL.; her siblings, Junior VaLeu and Iola Korves; her son Joseph J. Shinn; her former husband Edward "Doc" Shinn; and her husband Robert Cordtz.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Ann Womack of Joplin, MO; and her children, Michael Shinn (Susan) of Pueblo West, CO, George Shinn (Angie), Judith Stone (Mark) of El Cajon, CA, Samuel Shinn (Sharon), Timothy Shinn (Erma) of Ada, OK and Michelle Volk (Kevin) of Moore, OK. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
