She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Kuennen and Frances Kuennen (Reicks); her husband Marion Vargason; and her siblings, Adolph, Urban, Herbert, Rene, Luke, Alice, Alvera and Kathryn.

She is survived by: her children, Steven, Cynthia Rice (Dennis), Brian, Aaron and Randall; her grandchildren, Natasha, Tesia Vargason, Mary Turnage (Joshua), Sarah Rice and David Rice (Laura); her stepgrandson Dennis Rice II; her great grandchildren, Jameson and Calliope Turnage; and her great great grandchild Kaylee Rice.
