He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie (Walk); his son John Friedrich (Kim Carr); his granddaughter Rose Marcella; his daughters, Kristin Friedrich of Iowa City and Ann Friedrich of St. Paul, MN; his brother-in-law Phil Walk (Mary); his nephews, Steve Walk and Christian Walk; his brother-in-law Richard Osberg; and his niece Jennifer Craft.
