She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Esta Elizabeth Brookins (Claborn); and her sister Barbara Ann Brookins. She is survived by: her husband Rick Laymon; her sons, Trent Laymon of Bennington and Derrick Laymon (Tabathya) of Kingston, Oklahoma; her sisters, Gail Wheeler (Cal) of Durant and Jan Doughty (Junior) of Durant, Oklahoma; her sister-in-law Sue Phillips of Durant, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Lexie Laymon, Kane of Bokchito, Laynie Laymon of Bokchito, Lily Taliaferro of Kingston, Oklahoma, Jeren Shurbet of Ardmore and Parker Shurbet of Kingston, Oklahoma; and her great grandchild Paisley Jones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends.
