He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse William and Eva Thomas (Gaither) of Georgia; his wife Delores Ann Heflin; and his siblings, Teenie LaVern Calhoun, Cecil Leroy, Billy Earl, Johnny Paul, Charles Edward and Jessie Lee Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Regina Ann Hampton, Loretta Buckley and Tina Kay Wasson; and his siblings, Leslie Ray, Donnie Gene Thomas and Mattie Mae Pebworth. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters; 2 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren.
