He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Lewis Sr. and Euella Pitre; his brother Fredrick Jr.; his grandmother Rose Pitre Shaw; and his cousin Ervin Cole.

He is survived by: his wife Erma Jean Cole; his children, Sandra Lewis (Johnny) of Tulsa, Angela James (Mike Sr.) of Okmulgee, Three, Gregory Lewis (Gwen) of Beggs, Sidney Jr. (Tammy) of Okmulgee and Marion Lewis of Tulsa; and his siblings, Carol Davis of Kansas City, MO. and Douglas Lewis of Tulsa. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and countless friends.
