It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Red Hicks of Beggs, Oklahoma, born in Henryetta, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hicks and Ella Hicks (Coker); his brothers, Henry Hicks, Curtis Hicks, George Hicks and Houston Hicks; his son Joe; and his nephews, Manuel "Bugs" Hicks, Tim Hicks, Monroe Hicks and Jim Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hicks; his children, Ty Hicks, Rayna E. Butler of Beggs, Joseph Charles Hicks (Lisa) of Beggs, Bonny Hicks-Cartwright (Austin) of South Carolina, Michael Jessie Dill of Beggs, Tony Mark Hicks (Vickie Rasmussen) of Greer, Leonard C. Hicks (Debbie) of Chandler, Jonathan Charles Hicks of Beggs, Anna Elizabeth Smith (Jeremy) and Cheyenne Tailor Hicks of Beggs; his grandchildren, Tim Hicks, Leah Dill, Jennifer Hicks-Polson, Lauren Aiken, Brandon Powell, Chelsea Hicks, Austin, Taycvte Loisa Hicks, Bryson Hicks-McCollum, Carter Hicks-McCollum, Joslyn Smith, Kylon Williams, Kenadee Hicks and Jessie Michael Meeks; his niece Lahoma Schultz (Bobby); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Faren and Cheyenne; his niece Lawanta Soap; his great-nephews, Kevin Soap and Leroy Soap, Jr.; his nephew Johnny Hicks; his niece Carol Muniz (Tom); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chris Muniz and Carrie Muniz; his nephew Louis Hicks (Gloria); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leah, Lori Jenkins, Ella, Joe Hicks and Justin Hicks; his niece Angela Chavez; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Louie Chavez and John Chavez; and his nephew Robert Hicks.
