She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Newman and Myrtle Newman (Smith); and her husband Jess Rains. She is survived by: her children, Billy Hamilton, Wilburn Hamilton, Harold Hamilton, Rebecca Meador and Mark Hamilton. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
