He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Floyd E. Trippet and Mary Sonday Trippet; his wife Diane Elizabeth Coleman; his son Phillip; his daughter-in-law Karen of Fort Collins; his grandsons, Isaac of Fort Collins and Eli of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his sons, Todd, Brett and Ty (Ivan Villegas) of New York City; his brother Carl Trippet (Kim) of Yukon, Oklahoma.; and also, Sally of Beaver, Blake (Lisa), Ryland, Emersyn of Guthrie, Chase (Heather Reed) of Oklahoma City, Cole of Beaver, Susan of Forgan, Jenny (Kirby Laverty), Kenzie, Kait, Reese, Lawson of Laverne and Lindsey (Connor Cocklin) of Oklahoma City. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to organizations he supported and was passionate about, including the Beaver County Memorial Hospital, the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department, the Jones and Plummer Trail Museum, the Beaver County Pioneer Library and the Beaver United Methodist Church.
