She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Claybrook and Beatrice Claybrook; her husband Pete M. Bartel; her son Kevin; and her siblings, Donna Sue Kippenberger, Doris Sumrall, Delorne Claybrook and Clarence Shorb.
She is survived by: her sister Darlene Nelson of Elko, NV; her daughter Vicki Gardiner (Glenn); her daughter-in-law Linda Bartell Peterson (Dale); and her grandchildren, Kyle (Angela), Kraig Bartel and Norman.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in her memory.
