He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon William Barnes Sr. and Margret Marilla Magee. He is survived by: his spouse Karol "Sue" Steele; his sons, Kevin William Barnes and Brian William Barnes (Vicki); his grandchildren, Jason Richard Patrick (Jessie), Sarah Elizabeth Barnes, Ashley Nicole Humphrey (John), Nicholas Ryan Barnes-Reinsager (Leah) and Lindsey Dawn Harmon (Zach); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Harrison, Zachary Humphrey, Zoey Humphrey, Bradley Humphrey, Burkley Humphrey, Lily Patrick and Addyson Harmon.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at 1331 Swan Dr, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
