Rita Rae Byfield Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Rita Rae Byfield of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on March 27, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Rae and Beverly Ann Nichols (Loper); her husband Michael Byfield; her aunt Florence Lacey; her grandmother Edna Lacey; and her adoptive mother Jeanne Dungan.

She is survived by: her children, Katee, Michael Sean Byfield, Jennifer Fields, Kristi Leigh Byfield, Ben Davies and Kathleen Elisa Byfield; her grandchildren, Michael Lukas Byfield, Gray Byfield-Davies and Eva Byfield-Davies; and her siblings, Patsy, Chuck Moore, Frank, Debbie Dungan, Jerry and Sonya Dungan.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory - Walker Brown Chapel (4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, OK 74006). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Outlaws Cemetery.
