It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hi Williamson Staten Jr. of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Wertman Staten. He is survived by: his wife Margie; his sons, Mike Staten (Martha) of Oro Valley, Arizona, Jim Staten (Elaine) of Pinehurst and Bob Staten (Grace) of Jacksonville, Florida.; his grandchildren, Erin, Christopher, Ian, Andrew and Kate; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Holden.
A wake was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Onto the Splash Club. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery - Bartlesville (4200 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, OK 74006).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in support of the Ralph Matlock/Hi W. Staten Memorial Scholarship at the OSU Foundation.
