He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. Sagel and Alice M. Sagel (Melrose); his stepfather Jim Eller; his daughter Georgianna K. Sagel; his sister Frances McGuire; and his half-sister Alice Shackleford.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sagel; and his siblings, Keith Sagel, Howard E. Sagel, Jr. and Vivian King. He is also survived by six nephews and five nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home (710 Dewey Ave, Bartlesville, OK 74003). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery - Bartlesville (4200 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, OK 74006).
