He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pope and Nora Pope (Pennington); his close friend Jeanne Housel; his brother William Pope; and his great grandchild Nora Belle Robertson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Kelley of Independence, Dawn Surber (John) of Belleville and Theron Pope (Tess) of Bartlesville; his grandsons, Ben Kelley, Cody Robertson, John Pope and Jay Surber; and his great grandchildren, Camryn Robertson, Nonie Pope, Michael Robertson, Emma Robertson, Riley Robertson and Wylie Joe Pope.
