He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Alexander and Helen Pauline Bresson (Girard); and his siblings, Larry Bresson, Tommy Bresson and Pat Wernet.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Michael Bresson, Sheila Murray of Houston, Helen Bresson of Bartlesville and Rhonda Braselton; his siblings, John Bresson, Collette Krantz of Chicago and Maurita Grindle; his grandchildren, Richard Bresson, Jacob Braselton, Sarah Braselton, Sean Bresson and Declan Bresson; and his great grandchild Carolina Bresson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to St. John Catholic School or Hopestone Cancer Support Center of Bartlesville.
