She was predeceased by: her parents, H. L. Carpenter and Rachel Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Don; her sister Julia Gurley; her sons, David (Julie) and Kent (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Lukas, Caleb, Keegan, Rachel, Xander, Nathan, Noah and Anna Cochran.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to The Journey Home, a not-for-profit hospice house where Carol and family were blessed by excellent care during her last days.
