He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin E. Doerksen and Bertha M. Doerksen (Toews). He is survived by: his wife Teresa M. Doerksen (Oborny); his children, Martin B. Doerksen of Dallas, TX and Bethany K. Doerksen-Klopp (Dustin Klopp) of Claremore, OK; and his grandchildren, Jace Klopp and Evelyn Klopp of Claremore, OK..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stumpff Funeral Home (1600 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006).
His innovative contributions to the field earned him numerous patents, particularly for systems and methods related to on-line pigging and spalling of coker furnace outlets.
