It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonita Louise McGrew of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, born in Dewey, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barton Hudson and Frances Mary Thaxton-Hudson; her son Danny McGrew; and her siblings, Jenny Lee Hammond, Kelly Jay Hudson, Johnny Leon Hudson and Marilyn Sue Buck.
She is survived by: her husband Gary McGrew; her son Bart McGrew (Tammy McGrew) of Shawnee, OK; her daughter-in-law Pam McGrew of Kansas, OK; her granddaughters, Alicia McGrew of Hillsboro, Oregon and Jordan Clopp (Braxton Clopp) of Tulsa, OK; and her great grandchildren, Hudson Clopp of Tulsa, OK and Everleigh Clopp of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory (1600 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
During this time, she made significant contributions to the well-being of her tribal community and the preservation of its cultural legacy.
