He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Young and Letha May Young; and his siblings, Bob Ketchum, Gloria Scullawl, James Ketchum, Leroy Young, Phillip Young and Garland Young.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Hoffman; his sons, Travis (Lisa), Danny (April) and David (Cassi); and his grandchildren, Logan, Anna, Luke and Eric. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church (5111 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, OK 74006).
