It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Lee Moreland (Barnsdall, Oklahoma), who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Moreland; his parents, Oren Moreland and Augusta Moreland; his siblings, Oren Moreland Jr. and Lorene; his brother-in-law Elmer Owens; his siblings, Kenneth Moreland and Cherry Webb; and his brothers-in-law, Rex Hersh and John Moon.
He is survived by: his daughter Laresa Collins (Moreland) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his siblings, Helen Capps (Leon) of Wichita, Kansas, Lois Hersh-Moon of Wichita, Kansas, Don Moreland of Nowata, Oklahoma and Pat Garretson of Wichita, Kansas; his grandsons, Adam M. Collins (Bethany) of Novato and Nathan P. Collins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and his great grandchild Talon A Collins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
