She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Guy and Alice Gilleland. She is survived by: her son Danny Sanders (Sam); and her sister Berta Hobbs. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Upon retirement, she was a homemaker until succumbing to the effects of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.
