She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Davis "Jay" Clapp and Marguerite Clapp-Allee (Kampen); her great grandchild Ezekiel David Barham; and her brother Jack Clapp. She is survived by: her husband Tommy L. Upton; and her children, Judy Lea Hudson (John) of Albuquerque and Brad Upton (Ginny) of Dewey, OK. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

“Judy and Tom were my first Sunday School teachers when I moved to Dewey in 1979. They were a source of inspiration over the years. I had no family in the area at the time, but they were my closest friends. My grandson had the same birthday as Tom and they always had a card with a $2 bill in it for him. I loved to hear Judy sing and play the piano.”
