It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Luther Jackson of Atoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Sue Jackson (Wallace) and Kenneth Jackson; his wife Ahlona Jackson; his daughter Chandus Hoff; his grandson Watson Ray Griggs; his siblings, Wally Jackson, Randall Jackson, Michael Tisdell, Debbie Borjesson, Kay Jones and Jeanie Capshaw; and his nephews, David Tisdell Jr. and Eric Benson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ray Jackson (Kitty) of Mustang, OK, Stephen Ray Jackson (Megan) of Tulsa, OK, Barbara Ann Andrews (Kevin) of Ada, OK, Tracie Mullin of New York City, NY, Thomas Ray Jackson of Stafford, VA, Seneca Virginia Bartlett of Atoka, OK, Bre Maretta Reilly (Dennis) of Stringtown, OK, Joshua Ray Jackson and Jackson Losawyer (Jonathan) of McKinney, TX; his grandchildren, Brandon, Mason, Marrissa, Kenedy, McKenzie, Brodie, Skye, Keeria, Jacob, Griffin, Sarah, Sunny, Jackson, Raelyn, Naushe, Yuri, Taylor and Harry; his great grandchildren, Tinley, Addison, Alyvea, Brooks, Liam, Lailey, Whitley, Mallie and Zayden; and his siblings, Christina Herries of Springfield, OR, Rita Benson of Stringtown, OK, Hopper Jackson of Coalgate, OK, Jessie Jackson of Durant, OK, David Tisdell of Frisco, TX and Tonya Hensley of Daisy, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Brown's Funeral Chapel (718 W 13th St, Atoka, OK 74525).
