It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Ray Darst of Atoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Darst and Nellie Kennedy (Kennedy); his wife Becky Darst; and his brother Doyle "Buck". He is survived by: his children, Robbie Mishell Gass (Mark) of Atoka, OK, Renitta Kay Morgan (Brian) of Atoka, OK and Shane Campbell (Alysha) of Atoka, OK; his grandchildren, Sarah Wilson (Bryar) of Atoka, OK, Jessica Morgan of Atoka, OK, Kelsie McAfee (T. J.) of Lehigh, OK, Brittney Morgan of Atoka, OK, Brandy Morgan of Caney, OK, Oakley Gass (Makala) of Atoka, OK, Haden Gass (Hope) of Atoka, OK, Haley Dixon (Kolton) of Caddo, OK, Hunter Gass of Norman, OK and Cort Campbell of Atoka, OK; his great grandchildren, Wrekin, Bannon, Chaytin, Dodie, Darcie Wilson, Rhett, Everlee Willis, Whitley, Lincoln McAfee, Braxton Rinehart, Eliana Griffith, Blakeleigh, Brynleigh, Bryleigh Gass, Graycen, Beau Dixon, James Cooper, Oakley Gass and Kane Campbell; his stepmother Jewel Darst of Duncan, OK; and his siblings, Walter R. B. Darst of Burney, CA, Sam Darst (Linda) of Duncan, OK, Doc Darst (Arlinda) of Antlers, OK, Glenda "Sissy" Carnefix of Pea Ridge, AR, Vonda Miller of Duncan, OK and Trelia Heise of Sherman, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Chapel-Atoka (718 W 13th St, Atoka, OK 74525).
